The national exhibition for recycling technology and waste management is being held this month for the tenth year in Evenementenhal Gorinchem. This year is extra festive for Van Werven; they sign a new cooperation contract on the second exhibition day.
Owner Easyfairs and partner Van Werven will collaborate again. The waste from the Evenementenhal locations Gorinchem and Hardenberg, which annually accounts for more than two hundred events, is separated at the source and then collected and processed by Van Werven. Jeroen van Hooff, CEO of Easyfairs Netherlands: “One can imagine that all those events lead to the necessary waste flows. We have already made good strides, but we strive to further reduce the amount of waste per visitor and to recycle more and better.”
‘Plastic the raw material’
“Burning waste is not a solution in our eyes. At our recycling sites we turn around 92% of the waste back into products. Recycling is not only good for our living environment, it also saves costs. Variety of companies
In addition to signing the contract, we are looking forward to meeting our relations at the exhibition and building new contacts. “The exhibition is a good place to talk to our relations in an informal way. In addition, we can present ourselves to companies that do not know us well. It is nice to experience the variety of companies at the exhibition. We all have to deal with recycling in one way or another, "says Arne Herpoele, general manager.
